WS New Horizons was established in 2019.
With South Africans consuming over 81 000 tonnes of peanuts per annum WS New Horizons identified an opportunity to establish a peanut processing plant that delivers a quality end product with a quick turnaround time and at a competitive price.
Our peanut processing plant in Krugersdorp, west of Johannesburg, provides a core offering of cleaning, blanching, grading and roasting peanuts for farmers, peanut butter producers, pre-packers and confectionery and snack companies.
In 2019 WS New Horizons acquired a second plant that focuses primarily on cleaning peanut stock and grading products and enables them to process an additional 20 tonnes of peanuts per day, totaling 1 300 tonnes per month across both plants.
We strive to deliver quality peanut processing at affordable prices at quick turnaround times to ensure that people around South Africa always have access to healthy, great tasting peanuts and peanut products.
We aim to continue to grow WS New Horizons over the next few years to process significantly more peanuts for local and international markets.
Our products and machinery undergo regular quality tests to ensure quality peanuts and food safety.
